Sept. 29
I am quickly feeling overwhelmed. Everything seems to be moving so fast in this game. I wish there was a control to slow things down. I have hold of my creatures hand and am leading her about. We go in one direction then another. Back and forth. I stopped and let go of my pets hand. She started moving very slowly and from the look on her face, she was exhausted. It was my fault that things had been going so fast. That's what happens when I move the mouse too fast.

My creatures seem to get sick all of the time. I have to figure out how to make them well. I'm getting tired of them being cold, too. I wonder how I can fix this? I might need to get on the Creatures forum and see if someone can help me.

I moved one of my norn's into the playroom. I took the other norn out. When I clicked back to the norn in the playroom, she was playing with the train in the corner. This is the first time I became aware of the way they pursue their own interests. I think instead of manipulating them, I probably should try watching them for awhile.

Tigger, one of my norn's died today. He was going around feeling hungry and I found him some food. He wasn't even sick, he just went to sleep and ended up in the graveyard. My other norn is sick all of the time. I'm not sure what she needs. She gets cold then she gets sick. I don't have any more clothing for her. I see I now have a new egg available to hatch, so the game goes on.

I hatched a new norn named Leah today. I decided to watch her more than interact with her and she did lots of things on her own, like dress and play with the top in the playroom. She goes outside by herself and she eats everything that is not nailed down. She's very different from my other norns who seemed less independent. Maybe the way to make norns independent is to leave them alone after they hatch and just watch them.
